Such pretty Stars, Ever so perfect, Glimmering in the heavens above, Looking down upon the world below, Pretty little smiles, Smiling prettily down on us, So far away from the crowds, So distant from their admirers, Such pretty faces for pretty words, Ever the smile for the quaint people below, Its funny that the smile never quite reaches the eyes.

Theres the girl, Starting to unfurl, So sad and lost, With no heed of the cost, Cuts up her wrists, To dull the pain,
It drips like rain.
She had no friends, To make amends, Poor little Joan, She was all alone, God wasnt there, To help her bear.
The blood ran down, And she without a frown, Let it go, Let it flow.
Life left slowly, Like nothing was holy, But/and when morning came, She was just an empty frame.
